#Building4THON2 - Building More Hope In The Fight Against Cancer!

On January 24, 2018, after a 14-month battle with cancer turned him into a shell of his former self, John Regoli Jr. (my Dad) passed away. Before my Dad became sick, he always said he was his proudest in myself and my sister when we were doing what we loved most. That inspired me to turn his passing into a beacon of hope, by taking the various things I loved and turning them into THON spinoff events. In 2019, 2020, and 2021, I held #Trivia4THON, hosting and competing in various marathons of online trivia matches highlighting as many mediums and genres of pop culture that I could think of! And over the course of those three years, myself and my various YouTube friends raised a combined estimated $11,000 for the Four Diamonds Fund, building a couple extra fists for the many kids of Hershey Children's Hospital to punch back against cancer with!

In 2022, I built a new event called #Building4THON, in which I built a 9,036-piece LEGO Colosseum over the 46-hour period that coincided with the proper Penn State THON event! Heck, I even went beyond the 46-hour period because it took me longer than expected to finish the build! The struggle was worth it though, because I finished the build, and I now in 2023 it's time for the sequel... #Building4THON2!!!

This year, from February 17 at 6 PM EST to February 19 at 4 PM EST, myself and my friends, Kees Cornelisse and Chris Ingle will be building LEGO sets for the amusement of the viewing public for the duration of the 46-hour THON gauntlet! Chris will be building the 2,807-piece Mighty Bowser set from the Super Mario franchise! Kees will be building the 9,090-piece Titanic set from the LEGO Icons branch (which is a larger piece count than the Colosseum I built last year)! And I will be building the 2,207-piece Volkswagen T2 Camper Van AND the 5,686-piece NINJAGO City Gardens! We may also randomly invite a few of our friends onto the stream to build LEGO creations of their own, and to engage in whatever other hijinks we can think of!
