10th ANNUAL SWIM for A CURE benefitting

Penn State Harrisburg THON and DMAIG ~ Dance Marathon Alumni Interest Group

I am beyond excited and privileged to be able to fundraise for THON 2021/2022!

For the past 9 years I have done some pretty crazy swims and raised $34,691.39….

with the help of so many wonderful donors! All in the effort to CONQUER CHILDHOOD CANCER! This year I will be splitting my donations between two amazing ORGs. Penn State Harrisburg, where I teach and I am the co-advisor for our THON ORG and DMAIG, as I am a PSU Alumna. When I was at the main campus I did not know about THON, I am trying to make up for that now ❤️

In this my 10th year I am hoping to do a 40 hour swim in the Fall (October or November) and a 46 hour swim Wednesday January 26th to Friday January 28, times to be determined. I will also swim the Annual 5K in October at the lake (weather depending) and a special announcement yet to be organized………

I will have Facebook live videos and hopefully Twitch feeds for the bigger swims.

Please follow along, donate if you are able and share share share the page!

Growing up is a beautiful thing. Let’s fight for it.

Join us in our commitment to turn childhood dreams into reality by supporting THONTM. This year, I am taking action by joining THON™ Nation and uniting with 16,500 student volunteers and over 25,000 alumni supporters in the fight against childhood cancer. THON's year-long efforts culminate in a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon each February to celebrate our survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and take a stand--all in hopes of one day dancing in celebration of a cure.
Since 1977, THON has raised over $157 million for Four Diamonds at Penn State Children’s Hospital, providing comprehensive care for 4,000 families and funding critical research to take this fight beyond central Pennsylvania and spread hope around the world. THON's mission is to provide both financial and emotional support for our families, ensuring that they never have to face cancer alone.
