I THON for Aunt Anne & my Uncles.
Last year, my Aunt Anne passed away after a long, hard battle with pancreatic cancer. She was so strong and remained a positive light during her battle and so this year, I THON for her. If we can find a cure for pediatric cancer, we are well on our way for curing other types of cancer as well.
This year, as in the past, I am fundraising on behalf of my organization, Monarch. The only difference is that this year I have had the privilege of being on the executive board of Monarch as Vice President of Fundraising! This organization has been fundamental in shaping my college experience and it brings me joy to fundraise on behalf of them and our families, the Keisters and the Snyders.
Join us in our commitment to turn childhood dreams into reality by supporting THON. This year, I am taking action by uniting with 16,500 student volunteers and over 25,000 alumni supporters in the fight against childhood cancer. Our year-long efforts culminate in a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon each February to celebrate our survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and take a stand--all in hopes of one day dancing in celebration of a cure.
It is my hope that one day, every child will have the opportunity to live out their dreams.
I truly appreciate any support you provide, either by making a donation or by sharing my page on social media to spread THON’s mission.
