Growing up is a beautiful thing. Let’s fight for it!!!

Join us in our commitment to turn childhood dreams into reality by supporting THON. This year, I am taking action by uniting with 16,500 student volunteers and over 25,000 alumni supporters in the fight against childhood cancer. Our year-long efforts culminate in a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon each February to celebrate our survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and take a stand--all in hopes of one day dancing in celebration of a cure.

Why We THON:

THON is a student-run philanthropy committed to enhancing the lives of children and
families impacted by childhood cancer. Our mission is to provide emotional and financial support, spread awareness, and ensure funding for critical research—all in pursuit of a cure.

In the past two years I have attended Penn State University, I took part of the THON marathons that happen every year in the month of February. This year I wanted to contribute more to THON and help fight for the kids! While participating in the past two years, the two parts that I had enjoyed the most were watching the dancers and witnessing the children smile as they dance their hearts out. I have always enjoyed working with children; it is my hope that one day, every child will have the opportunity to live out their dreams.

I am currently a Junior and want to give back this year by fundraising to benefit THON in an effort to provide outstanding financial and emotional support and spread THON's mission world-wide. I will be doing this through APPs, which is an organization for students interested in pursuing a career in the pediatric medical field. For those who are like me and have always wanted to contribute to THON, but thought it was too late. Don’t hold back! It is never too late to lend a helping hand in devoting your time and support for the families and children who are in need.

THON for the kids!

I THON so every child's dream can come true!

I THON so our angel's stories live on!

Since 1977, THON has raised over $180 million for Four Diamonds at Penn State Children’s Hospital, providing comprehensive care for 4,000 families and fund critical research to take our fight beyond central Pennsylvania and spread hope around the world. We work year-round to provide both financial and emotional support for our families, ensuring that they never have to face cancer alone.

I truly appreciate any support you provide, either by making a donation or by sharing my page on social media to spread THON’s mission!!
