One day, we WILL dance in celebration!

Since 1977, THON has raised over $157 million for Four Diamonds at Penn State Children’s Hospital, providing comprehensive care for 4,000 families and fund critical research to take our fight beyond central Pennsylvania and spread hope around the world. We work year-round to provide both financial and emotional support for our families, ensuring that they never have to face cancer alone.

Join us in our commitment to turn childhood dreams into reality by supporting THON. This year, I am taking action by uniting with 16,500 student volunteers and over 25,000 alumni supporters in the fight against childhood cancer. Our year-long efforts culminate in a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon each February to celebrate our survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and take a stand--all in hopes of one day dancing in celebration of a cure.

My Involvement With THON

If you knew me in high school, you probably got to watch me grow to fall in love with Four Diamonds and THON. I was a chair for Delone's miniTHON 2019, where we broke the fundraising effort and were able to donate over $18,000 to Four Diamonds to help support families fighting pediatric cancer and also to fund critical research in the pursuit of a cure.

When I knew I was going to be attending Penn State I was adamant in making THON my top priority (oh and school for any family members reading). After meeting with a local THON family at miniTHON I realized the impact that Four Diamonds had on those in my community and beyond through their generosity. As a freshman I was eager to be involved anyway I could.

With my experiences at miniTHON I hoped to be able to be involved in the event in a facet which allowed me to encourage the dancers, because it's them and the kids which truly bring this all together. I am now incredibly excited to be a part of the Dancer Relations committee! I will be responsible for physically and mentally supporting dancers THON weekend as they take on the grueling task of 46 hours, no sitting, no sleeping; but, all For The Kids.

I am also fundraising for Schreyer Student Council's THON committee. We are blessed to be matched with two outstanding families, the Miller and the Sylves families. Jack and Tyler are two amazing THON children who you help support with your donation.

Throughout the year, I will be fundraising to benefit THON in an effort to provide outstanding financial and emotional support and spread THON’s mission world-wide. It is my hope that one day, every child will have the opportunity to live out their dreams.

The reality is that THON provides emotional and financial support to families battling pediatric cancer. By donating you can help ensure that these families can concentrate on loving one another and getting better. You also are helping to fund the cure, so that one day we dance in celebration. Every kid deserves the chance to grow up; and by any donation, big or small, or sharing my page on social media, I thank you for choosing to take a stand to fight pediatric cancer.
