Growing up is a beautiful thing. Let’s fight for it.
Since coming to Penn State, I have been amazed by the efforts that my classmates and peers have made through their annual no-sitting, no-sleeping, nonstop, 46-hour dance marathon fundraiser, THON. This year, I have decided to join in those efforts with Penn State's Sign Language Organization (SLO) to support THON.
Besides teaching Penn State students American Sign Language in a free, peer-based setting, SLO is also paired with the Johnson family to celebrate survivors of childhood cancer, remember those we've lost, and take a stand for a cure to cancer.
I truly appreciate any donation you can make. By donating or sharing THON's mission and donor pages like mine, you are contributing to the $157 million Penn State students have raised over the past 42 years and helping the 4,000+ families supported by THON funds. I do hope you'll join me in making sure no one has to face cancer alone.
