Make an impact in the life of a child today

Growing up my best friend had brain cancer. But his disease did not stop him from doing everything to the fullest. Me, my friend, and his brother were together nearly everyday. His mom would become our "teacher" and take us on "field-trips". These trips would be fun activities that wpuld not put him in any risk.  When I was around 5 years old I ran a lemonade stand, and gave all the profits to my friends mom and told her that the money goes to a cure for my best friend. He is now in remission.

When you decide to support THON™, you become a partner in the ongoing fight against childhood cancer. As part of my organization benefitting THON, I am working alongside 16,500 student volunteers and over 25,000 alumni to support more than 4,000 families at Penn State Children’s Hospital to one day end the fight against childhood cancer.  Since THON’s beginning in 1973, we have raised over $168 million dollars, For The Kids™!

This year, I am taking action in the fight against childhood cancer. Throughout the year, I am fundraising on behalf of my organization benefitting THON to offset the costs of treatment that insurance cannot cover, expenses that improve the welfare of kids, and fund critical research in pursuit of finding a cure. I am committed to enhancing the lives of children and families impacted by childhood cancer as well as building lasting relationships with the Four Diamonds families, and it is my hope that one day every child has the opportunity to live out their childhood dreams.

Your contribution will fund innovative research that will not only enhance treatment for children in Pennsylvania but is also giving hope to childhood cancer patients worldwide! Together, with every student, volunteer, alumnus, donor, and supporter, we can spread awareness of THON’s mission across the country and throughout the world. With your support of THON, together, we will make a difference in the lives of children nationwide. Join us in the fight, For The Kids.
