Make an impact on the life of a child today!

This year is my third time participating in Penn State's THON--the world's largest student-run philanthropy event. THON is a 46-hour nonstop, no sitting, no sleeping dance marathon dedicating to providing emotional and financial support, spreading awareness and ensuring funding for critical research in pursuit of a cure for pediatric cancer. I am fundraising on behalf of my Hospitality Committee to offset the costs of treatment that insurance cannot cover, expenses that improve the welfare of the kids, and fund critical research in pursuit of finding a cure. This year I am happy to announce that I am the Cadet on my committee--a position which serves as second-in-command to my captains. I am taking action by uniting with 16,500 student volunteers and over 25,000 alumni supporters in the fight against childhood cancer. THON is taking place on February 21-23 to celebrate our survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and take a stand--all in hopes of one day dancing together in celebration of a cure!

It is my hope that one day, every child will have the opportunity to live out their dreams. I joined an organization last year in hopes of getting involved in the school and meeting new friends. Throughout the year, I realized how much THON truly means to me. My family has unfortunately been affected by cancer, making this cause that much more important to me in order to show the same support to the THON families that my family receive. I THON to show these incredible families what #CancerCannot.

Since 1977, Penn State's THON has raised over 157 million dollars for Four Diamonds at Penn State Children’s Hospital, providing comprehensive care for 4,000 families and fund critical research to take our fight beyond central Pennsylvania and spread hope around the world. We work year-round to provide both financial and emotional support for our families, ensuring that they never have to face cancer alone. I hope you will consider supporting me in a cause that is so close to my heart. Any donation, small or large, helps us take one step closer to the end of this long fight against such a horrible disease. Until the day I dance in celebration of a cure, I will continue to dance in celebration of our survivors and in remembrance of those we  have lost. I truly appreciate any support you provide, whether it is by making a donation or by sharing my page on social media to spread THON's mission.
