Growing up is a beautiful thing. Let's fight for it.

Make a difference in the life of a child today! When you decide to support THON™, you become a partner in the ongoing fight against childhood cancer. As part of my organization benefitting THON, I am working alongside 16,500 student volunteers and over 25,000 alumni to support more than 4,000 families at Penn State Children’s Hospital to one day end the fight against childhood cancer.  Since THON’s beginning in 1973, we have raised over $168 million dollars, For The Kids™!

This year, I was so honored to be selected as a Family Relations captain for THON 2020. This amazing position gives me the opportunity to connect and interact with Four Diamond families, facilitate relationships between families and THON volunteers, and introduce new families to the beacon of light that THON is in our world. This role has already had such an incredible effect on me as I am able to talk to families who have been impacted by childhood cancer and see in their eyes how much THON means to them. Through your donation efforts, parents are able to focus of their child's future and happiness rather than the financial needs of their treatment. Families have told me time and time again how thankful they are for Four Diamonds and THON and how it has shown them that hope, unity, and light will always conquer even the most devastating situations. I truly believe that we have so much to learn from the children who laugh even in the midst of pain and display wisdom, strength, honesty, and courage ten times their size. However, none of these things would be possible without the amazing donations from people like you. This is why throughout the year, I am fundraising on behalf of Family Relations to offset the costs of treatment that insurance cannot cover, expenses that improve the welfare of kids, and fund critical research in pursuit of finding a cure. Truly everything we do if for the kids and I am committed to enhancing the lives of children and families impacted by childhood cancer as well as building lasting relationships with the Four Diamonds families, and it is my hope that one day every child has the opportunity to live out their childhood dreams, as I have been able to.

Your contribution will fund innovative research that will not only enhance treatment for children in Pennsylvania but is also giving hope to childhood cancer patients worldwide! Together, with every student, volunteer, alumnus, donor, and supporter, we can spread awareness of THON’s mission across the country and throughout the world. With your support of THON, together, we will make a difference in the lives of children nationwide.

One day we will dance in celebration, but until then we dance for a cure.

Join us in the fight, For The Kids.
