Fighting so every cub can grow up to be a Nittany Lion

This year I have the honor of serving as the Primary THON Chair for my sorority, Alpha Phi.  After spending 40 hours volunteering my time during THON 2019 weekend on a committee, my passion and desire to fight for these children grew more than I could imagine. I am blessed to represent the 4 families that Alpha Phi "adopts" for THON: The Smiths, McDonnells, Zomoks, and DiRoccos.

Throughout this year, my time at Penn State, and even as an alumni, THON will always hold a special place in my heart. I am so excited to create new and exciting fundraising efforts throughout the year as well as bonding events for our THON families and Alpha Phi members.

I am so grateful to go to Penn State and have the opportunity to not only stand and fight for something, but to see that impact first hand. Last year THON raised ~ $10.6 million for the Four Diamonds Families and I look forward to Penn State beating that total in THON 2020.

I appreciate your support and am gracious for any donation or simply sharing my page to friends and family who can help me reach my fundraising goal.

Together we will fight for a cure.

Join us in our commitment to turn childhood dreams into reality by supporting THON. THON has 16,500 student volunteers and over 25,000 alumni supporters dedicated to win the fight against childhood cancer. Our year-long efforts culminate in a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon each February to celebrate our survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and take a stand--all in hopes of one day dancing in celebration of a cure.

THON's efforts provide outstanding financial and emotional support for children and their families. It is my hope that one day, every child will have the opportunity to live out their dreams.

Since 1977, THON has raised over $157 million for Four Diamonds at Penn State Children’s Hospital, providing comprehensive care for 4,000 families and fund critical research to take our fight beyond central Pennsylvania and spread hope around the world. We work year-round to provide both financial and emotional support for our families, ensuring that they never have to face cancer alone.
