Help to change the life of a child today!

After being apart of THON for the past three years at PSU and seeing firsthand what it truly is like to be in the BJC during such a powerful event, it made me never want to stop being apart of THON. This year I have been given the amazing opportunity to be an Entertainment Captain for THON 2020. My co-captains and I will get to be apart of something that changes the lives of children and families that have endured more hardship than anyone should ever have to be faced with.

When you decide to support THON, you become a partner in the ongoing fight against childhood cancer. As an Entertainment Captain benefiting THON, I am working alongside 16,500 student volunteers and over 25,000 alumni to support more than 3,700 families at Penn State Children’s Hospital to one day end the fight against childhood cancer.  Since THON’s beginning in 1973, we have raised over $146 million dollars, For The Kids!

This year, I am taking action in the fight against childhood cancer. Throughout the year, I am fundraising on behalf of the Entertainment committee in order to benefit THON to offset the costs of treatment that insurance cannot cover, expenses that improve the welfare of kids, and fund critical research in pursuit of finding a cure. I am committed to enhancing the lives of children and families impacted by childhood cancer as well as building lasting relationships with the Four Diamonds families, and it is my hope that one day every child has the opportunity to live out their childhood dreams.

Your contribution will fund innovative research that will not only enhance treatment for children in Pennsylvania but is also giving hope to childhood cancer patients worldwide! Together, with every student, volunteer, alumnus, donor, and supporter, we can spread awareness of THON’s mission across the country and throughout the world. With your support of THON, together, we will make a difference in the lives of children nationwide. Join us in the fight, For The Kids.
