Growing up is a beautiful thing. Let’s fight for it.

Hi everyone, thank you for taking the time out to learn more about my efforts in THON, the largest student run philanthropy in the world. THON is something I am extremely passionate about and I am excited to share it with all of you. I am a member of the Penn State Cheerleading team and I work year-round with my teammates to raise funds and awareness for the Four Diamonds which supports children and their families battling cancer at Penn State Children's Hospital.

This year, I have been selected by my teammates to be a dancer for our organization and I could not be more excited. This February, I will not sit or sleep for 46 hours to celebrate our survivors, remember those we've lost, and take a stands--all in hopes of one day dancing in celebration of a cure. This is something I've dreamed about since I first got involved in THON and cannot wait to represent my organization, The Penn State Cheerleading Team. It is my hope that one day, every child will have the opportunity to live out their dreams.

Since 1977, THON has raised over $157 million for Four Diamonds at Penn State Children’s Hospital, providing comprehensive care for 4,000 families and fund critical research to take our fight beyond central Pennsylvania and spread hope around the world. We work year-round to provide both financial and emotional support for our families, ensuring that they never have to face cancer alone.

I truly appreciate any support you provide, either by making a donation or by sharing my page on social media to spread THON’s mission. THON has shaped my life here at Penn State and has lead me to amazing experiences and friendships that I am forever grateful for and I cannot wait to end my senior year by dancing in THON. Thank you, ftk always!
