Dancing
FTK
Growing up is a beautiful thing. Let’s fight for it!

Join us in our commitment to turn childhood dreams into reality by supporting THON. This year, I am taking action by uniting with 16,500 student volunteers and over 25,000 alumni supporters in the fight against childhood cancer. Our year-long efforts culminate in a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon each February to celebrate our survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and take a stand--all in hopes of one day dancing in celebration of a cure. Ever since Amanda and I started our education at Penn State, we have have volunteered and helped to work towards THON's mission through SNAPS (Student Nurses' Association of Penn State).  Each year we actively fundraise by canning, canvassing, participating in blood drives, and attending restaurant fundraisers around State College. Amanda and I both have participated on committees in efforts to help make THON weekend a success.

I have participated on an OPPerations committee for three years now. I have truly made life long friends on each of my committees all while helping THON run smoothly. OPPerations committees are responsible for the set up and tear down of THON and for ensuring that the facility is clean and safe for all volunteers and participants in THON.

THON has always been an important part of our college experience and we would like to continue that this year. Amanda and I wish to dance in THON in support of all of the children and their families affected by pediatric cancer. This year the two of us as an independent dancer couple will be fundraising in order to raise enough money to be put in the lottery with a chance to dance in the the 46 hour, no sitting, no sleeping dance marathon. We thought there was no better way to finish our last year at Penn State than to try to dance in THON 2020! Amanda and I truly appreciate any support you provide us and the cause, either by making a donation or by sharing our page on social media to spread THON’s mission.

Thank you so much for any support you graciously give us, the rest of the Penn State community, and Four Diamonds Foundation. We are so very excited to raise money for all of our little lions. FTK always!

One day we hope to dance for a CURE!
