MAKE A DONATION

We dance for a cure until we can dance in celebration

A message from Kaitlin and Alexa:

For those unfamiliar with Penn State THON, it is a magical 46-hour, no sitting, no sleeping dance marathon that brings together our yearlong efforts to raise money for children and families impacted by childhood cancer.

The reason we are running as Independent Dancer this year is not any recognition -- it's to fight for a tomorrow where every child has a chance at growing up and no family ever has to hear the words, "your child has cancer."

We want to dance for more smiles, more laughs, for the angels, for brighter futures, for Aubrey, for Emma, for Mason, for Alex, for Harrison, for Kyle, for Mara, and much more.

It's not everyday you get to be involved in something bigger than yourself, and Penn State THON has given us the special opportunity to help change the life of a child and their family whose problems are a lot bigger than our own.

Over the past three years at Penn State, we have been inspired and motivated by our previous dancers unconditional love and fight for a cure, and that is a legacy we want to pass on to others as graduating seniors.

We want to make it known that we have so much passion and gratitude for THON, and are beyond excited to potentially dance in THON 2023.

Forever and always, For The Kids

Independent Dancer Couples are dedicated individuals who set up their own fundraisers throughout the year, and with the support of friend and family, obtain tickets in a lottery system in the hopes of earning a spot as dancers in the Penn State Dance Marathon.
