For the past several years, The Penn State Women’s Club soccer has been honored to represent the Trey Fry family. While Trey was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 5, he successfully won his battle andhas been in remission for 5 years now!
Every year, the women’s club soccer along with hundreds of other organizations raise money to help support children in the Hershey Medical Center receiving care and treatment through the Four Diamonds Fund. Our year long fundraising efforts culminate in a 24 hour no sitting and no sleeping dance maraTHON! Last year, two members from the club soccer family, Taylor Woods & Clay Moyer, represented the Fry family in the Bryce Jordan Center. The Fry’s, especially Trey, loved being on the dance floor and supporting our dancers throughout the majority of the long lasting event!
As a team, we are proud and thankful to raise money for THON. In this upcoming 2020-2021 year, we are raising the bar by increasing our donation goal. We are planning to have some creative alternative fundraisers and want to spread awareness about this awesome opportunity to raise money for Childhood cancer.
Any amount big or small is greatly appreciated. Please help us spread the word, so we can all one day dance in pursuit of a cure!

Make a difference in the life of a child
Help save the lives of children battling cancer by supportingTHONTM. Our organization, Women's Club Soccer, is taking action by uniting with 16,500 student volunteers to raise funds and awareness in the fight against childhood cancer. Since 1977, THONTM has raised over $180 million for Four Diamonds at Penn State Children's Hospital. Throughout our partnership, we have ensured that over 4,000 families have not seen a single medical bill. In addition, the local research that is being done is making a global impact so that one day, we will find a cure. Each February, THON's yearlong efforts and support for the families culminate in a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon.
By supporting THON, you will be joining a community committed to conquering childhood cancer.
Women's Club Soccer is a Penn State organization that participates in THON, in addition to our organization's primary purpose. Throughout the year, Organizations contribute to the efforts of thousands of Penn State students across all campuses by facilitating fundraisers, as well as providing emotional support to Four Diamonds Families.
