Make a difference in the life of a child
THON is the largest student-run philanthropy in the world dedicated to enhancing the lives of children with childhood cancer. Epsilon Sigma Alpha and Alpha Epsilon Pi are separate organizations on Penn State's campus but when it comes to THON, we come together to fundraise year-round for a cause we are each so passionate about. Together we fundraise, hang out with our families, and form bonds with not only our THON kids but also with each other, to provide emotional and physical support for the Four Diamonds families.
ESAEPi has the privilege to be paired with two different THON families. The Schultz's and the Fischman's.
Eli was diagnosed with a Wilms’s tumor and has been cancer-free for seven years since January 25, 2020! He has twin younger siblings Brooke and Ari who are tons of fun to be around. We love spending time whether it's at Penn State or in Hershey park. We are very lucky to get to spend so much time with them.
Harrison was diagnosed with Wilms’s tumor in 2017. He had no sign of cancer in January of 2018 and has been clear since! Harrison has a twin brother Hudson and an older brother named Hayden. THON with the twins is super fun as they are still young! The boys all have tons of energy and we love spending time with them.
Lastly, ESAEPi would love to thank each and every one of you for your support in our organizations. Without all of you and your generous donations, these kids would not have the opportunities they have. ESAEPi battles childhood cancer along with your donation so one day there is no such thing. We THON for our families and hope you will join the fight so that no parent needs to hear the words “your child has cancer”.
Thank you,
ESAEPi family
