We THON for The Keenens.
Help save the lives of children battling cancer by supporting THONTM. Our Organization, Alliance Christian Fellowship, is taking action by uniting with 16,500 student volunteers to raise funds and awareness in the fight against childhood cancer. Since 1977, THONTM has raised over $168 million for Four Diamonds at Penn State Children's Hospital. Throughout our partnership, we have ensured that over 4,000 families have not seen a single medical bill. In addition, the local research that is being done is making a global impact so that one day, we will find a cure. Each February, THON's yearlong efforts and support for the families culminate in a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon. By supporting THON, you will be joining a community committed to conquering childhood cancer.

The Alliance Christian Fellowship has been paired with the Savannah Keenen family for the last 4 years! Savannah is currently a sophomore in high school and wants to come to Penn State and study physical therapy. Last year, she hit 10 years of being cancer-free, which means she is in full remission! The Keenens love Penn State women's volleyball--especially Savannah as she is the manager for her own high school volleyball team. Savannah is also extremely involved in Mini-THON at her school and excels in the classroom. Her parents, Kimona and Shawn are a delight, and always show love and support for ACF. Whenever they are in town, we love to spend time with them by going bowling, getting ice cream at the Creamery or just getting to know them better by engaging in fellowship with the rest of the church!
