Make a difference in the life of a child.

A Message from Ally and Maria:

THON has held a special place in our hearts since the moment we became involved as freshmen at Penn State. It has been a privilege to know that we are actively involved in the year-long efforts that result in smiles on the faces of children and families who may be going through what seem to be some of their most difficult times. Not only has our participation in THON been rewarding, but also humbling. It has driven us both to want to take our involvement one step further.

My sister and I would love to make our last THON experience one to remember. Not only are we excited to try and dance together, but also to be able to personally contribute to the overall total of THON 2020. At the end of the day, that is what these efforts are all about - raising money and awareness in pursuit of a cure!

My sister and I are extremely appreciative of any support that we receive. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration - we hope our journey inspires YOU to join us in the fight against pediatric cancer!

If you are unfamiliar with THON, take a glimpse into the magic that occurs THON weekend by watching the THON 2019 Weekend recap video!

Help save the lives of children battling cancer by supporting THONTM. Ally and Maria Borgia are taking action by uniting with 16,500 student volunteers to raise funds and awareness in the fight against childhood cancer. Since 1977, THONTM has raised over $168 million for Four Diamonds at Penn State Children's Hospital. Throughout our partnership, we have ensured that over 4,000 families have not seen a single medical bill. In addition, the local research that is being done is making a global impact so that one day, we will find a cure. Each February, THON's yearlong efforts and support for the families culminate in a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon.

By supporting THON, you will be joining a community committed to conquering childhood cancer.

Ally and Maria Borgia have been working tirelessly all year with the hopes of being selected to dance in THON Weekend 2020. Independent Dancer Couples are dedicated individuals who set up their own fundraisers throughout the year, and with the support of friends and family, obtain tickets in a lottery system in the hopes of earning a spot as dancers in the Penn State Dance Marathon.
