Make a difference in the life of a child.

Help save the lives of children battling cancer by supporting THONTM. Our Organization, Erin Menarde and Danielle Willis, is taking action by uniting with 16,500 student volunteers to raise funds and awareness in the fight against childhood cancer. Since 1977, THONTM has raised over $168 million for Four Diamonds at Penn State Children's Hospital. Throughout our partnership, we have ensured that over 4,000 families have not seen a single medical bill. In addition, the local research that is being done is making a global impact so that one day, we will find a cure. Each February, THON's yearlong efforts and support for the families culminate in a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon.

Welcome friends, family, and supporters! We are beyond excited to announce our fundraising efforts to dance in THON 2020!!

Our friendship began in the fall of 2016 after we both joined the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. We were rooted in THON from the start, as we truly got to know each after spending a cold November weekend fundraising door-to-door for For The Kids. Now -- as seniors, roommates, best friends, and THON-freaks -- it is our goal to experience THON as dancers, on our feet for 46 hours!

Our sorority Zeta Tau Alpha and THON partner Alpha Tau Omega has driven our deep passion for fundraising during our time at Penn State, as we were the top greek fundraiser in THON 2017, and top overall fundraiser in THON 2018 and THON 2019.

Throughout the year we will be fundraising as an Independent Dancer Couple to benefit THON in an effort to provide outstanding financial and emotional support to Four Diamonds Families. Independent Dancer Couples (IDCs) are chosen through a highly competitive lottery system. An initial ticket to enter the lottery is achieved after raising $2,800, and each additional ticket is $700. In order to increase our chances of being picked to dance, we need your help!

Our efforts throughout the year culminate in a 46-hour, no sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon in February to celebrate our survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and take a stand against childhood cancer -- all in the hopes of one day dancing in celebration of a cure.

It is our hope that one day, every child will have the opportunity to live out their dreams. Please consider making a donation or sharing our page as we work to spread hope around the world!

For The Kids,

Erin & Danielle

By supporting THON, you will be joining a community committed to conquering childhood cancer.

Erin Menarde and Danielle Willis have been working tirelessly all year with the hopes of being selected to dance in THON Weekend 2020. Independent Dancer Couples are dedicated individuals who set up their own fundraisers throughout the year, and with the support of friends and family, obtain tickets in a lottery system in the hopes of earning a spot as dancers in the Penn State Dance Marathon.
