Growing up is a beautiful thing. Let’s fight for it.

Help save the lives of children battling cancer by supporting THONTM. Our Organization, Delta Gamma, is taking action by uniting with 16,500 student volunteers to raise funds and awareness in the fight against childhood cancer. Since 1977, THONTM has raised over $168 million for Four Diamonds at Penn State Children's Hospital. Throughout our partnership, we have ensured that over 4,000 families have not seen a single medical bill. In addition, the local research that is being done is making a global impact so that one day, we will find a cure. Each February, THON's yearlong efforts and support for the families culminate in a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon.
By supporting THON, you will be joining a community committed to conquering childhood cancer.

Meet Our Families

 The Daniel Testa Family

Four years ago, Delta Upsilon were fortunate enough to be paired with their first Four Diamonds family, the  Testa’s . Our THON child, Daniel, is 10 years old and has a sister Leila, who is 7 years old. Daniel was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a type of cancer that attacks the nervous  system,  when he was less than a year old. He defeated his cancer when he was 2 and we are proud to say that he is now 8 years’ cancer free! Daniel loves to play just about any sport and roots for all the Philadelphia professional sports teams, especially the  76er’s . And his sister is a bundle of joy, always putting a smile on everyone’s faces.

The Kaylahni Laboy Family

Delta Gamma was blessed with two little divas when paired with the Laboy Family. Kaylahni is 10 and her sister, Nani, is 13 years old. At 4 months old, Kaylahni was diagnosed with Ependymoblastoma, a rare form of brain tumor. We are proud to announce that Kaylahni is now 9 years' cancer free! Her parents are Luis and Kiara. The family is always so excited for THON weekend and says that it is better than Christmas to them!

The Hunter Messe Family

Lastly, the Meese Family; Hunter is 16 years old and he has a sister, Peityn who is 13 years old. Hunter was diagnosed with Leukemia when he was just a year old. At the time, his mom was pregnant with his sister. We are happy to say that Hunter is 9 years' cancer free! Both Hunter and his sister love to play soccer!
