Growing up is a beautiful thing. Let’s fight for it.

Help save the lives of children battling cancer by supporting THONTM. We are taking action by uniting with 16,500 student volunteers to raise funds and awareness in the fight against childhood cancer. Since 1977, THONTM has raised over $168 million for Four Diamonds at Penn State Children's Hospital. Throughout our partnership, we have ensured that over 4,000 families have not seen a single medical bill. In addition, the local research that is being done is making a global impact so that one day, we will find a cure. Each February, THON's yearlong efforts and support for the families culminate in a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon.
By supporting THON, you will be joining a community committed to conquering childhood cancer.

We are so excited to announce that we will be attempting to dance in THON 2020!

Penn State’s Dance Marathon, or THON, is the largest student-run philanthropy in the world supporting children and their families that are affected by pediatric cancer. For those who are unfamiliar with THON weekend and its mission, it is a 46 hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping, dance marathon to provide emotional and financial support, spread awareness and ensure funding for critical research – all in pursuit of a cure. Money that we raise throughout the fundraising period will contribute to THON 2020 total, which gets distributed into research, treatments, and emotional support for the Four Diamond families. All money is donated in our name, will automatically go towards the THON 2020 total.

During THON weekend, students, volunteers, and Four Diamonds families join together at Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center on February 21st- 23rd, 2020. We are hoping to have the opportunity to dance for 46 hours with 700+ Penn State students and alumni to celebrate our survivors, remember those we have lost and, take a stand – all in hopes of one day dancing in celebration of a cure.

For THON 2020, we are attempting to dance as an independent dancer couple as seniors. Independent dancer couples are selected through a lottery system. We are giving our hearts and souls to allow Four Diamond children and families to forget about their cancer diagnosis for a weekend, and to do that, we are asking for your help!

We have been working tirelessly all year with the hopes of being selected to dance in THON Weekend 2020. Independent Dancer Couples are dedicated individuals who set up their own fundraisers throughout the year, and with the support of friends and family, obtain tickets in a lottery system in the hopes of earning a spot as dancers in the Penn State Dance Marathon.
